How a real estate team cut mileage report errors from 20% to 5%
A Finnish real estate team's old tracking solution was expensive and error-prone. With Driversnote, reports needing fixes dropped from 20% to 5%.
“Our old tracking solution was expensive, full of errors, and took forever to review. Driversnote is just an easier way to do it — for me and for our admin team.”

Before Driversnote: Expensive, error-prone, and slow to review
Before switching, Hanna's team tracked mileage with another solution. It was expensive, and it still wasn't reliable — trips got missed, and roughly 1 in 5 reports came in with some kind of error. Reviewing each report took Hanna 5 to 10 minutes, checking entries by hand to catch mistakes before they went further.
Why they chose Driversnote
Hanna and her team decided to try a completely different way of tracking mileage rather than patching up the old process. Driversnote let them log trips automatically in the background, classify each one as business or private with a single tap, and hand admins ready-to-export reports instead of a pile of entries to check by hand.
It turned out to be the right call. “It's a completely different concept from what we had before — and so much easier, both for me and for our admin,” Hanna says.
How Driversnote cut report errors from 20% to 5%
Since switching, the share of reports needing a correction has dropped from about 20% to around 5% — and reviewing each one now takes Hanna just 1 to 5 minutes, down from 5 to 10.
Not every one of those remaining errors is down to the system itself; some still come from user error. But with far fewer of them to catch, review has gone from a real chunk of Hanna's day to a quick pass.
Hanna has also seen fewer missed trips than with the old solution — which matters most on days packed with property viewings, the kind of schedule where a manual log is most likely to lose track of a stop. With trips logging automatically, it doesn't matter how many addresses are on the day's list.
“There are fewer missed trips now, and the reports take way less time to review.”
